It’s not often you find eat-in kitchen space in today’s small condos, but this couple wanted to be able to sit down in the kitchen with their grandkids. But having a wall with a pass-thru window just doesn’t do the trick. After consulting with the building plans we established the wall was not load bearing so out it went in no time. Replacing the flooring was an easy match to the existing hardwoods and extending the peninsula countertop with a new rounded tabletop gave them exactly what they needed. New appliances, and cabinet solutions for better accessibility and storage, soft beige high gloss and matte finishes present a subtle but unified look both sides of the peninsula and fit right in with their home furnishings.
